Sugar By Any Other Name!

skinnymeskinnyu.com

One of the biggest complaints I hear is - "I'm eating right but not losing weight"
Is sugar the culprit? You may think you aren't eating sugar but sadly it is hidden in so many things that we think are healthy.
Sugar goes by so many names and it's easy to be tricked into thinking you aren't getting any sugar. Sugar is bad!! Sugar can keep you from losing weight.
Here are a couple examples of foods that are really loaded with hidden sugar.
BBQ sauce - 13 grams in 2 Tablespoons - WOW, who only used 2 T????
Fruit Yogurt - 19 grams
Pasta Sauce - 12 grams in 1/2 cup
Soda - 29 grams in 8 ounces
Dried Fruit - can have up to 24 grams per 1/3 cup serving
Granola Bars - 12 grams
Energy Drinks - 83 grams
Salad Dressing - up to 9 grams - the fat free versions actually have more sugar than the full flavor
So as you can see, you may be getting too much sugar and not realizing it and this could be the reason your weight loss has stalled or isn't happening.
