This meatloaf is so moist and has TONS of flavor!
2.5 lbs of Extra lean Ground beef (may use Turkey also)...
1/2 medium sweet onion chopped
3/4 cup of Chopped Scallions (Green Onions)
1 heaping tsp of minced Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
4 slices of Natures way Whole Wheat bread (no High fructose corn syrup) toasted and processed.
( you may use bread crumbs of your choice)
4 Tbs Sour Cream
2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1 can (15oz) Tomato Sauce (divided)
3 Tbs Reduced Sugar Ketchup ( I used Heinz)
Pre heat oven to 400°
Combine together all ingredients **(leaving a 1/2 of can of tomato sauce and 3Tbs Ketchup to the side)** and Bake uncovered for 50 Minutes .
While that is baking mix together 1/2 can of sauce with 3 Tbs Ketchup.
At 50 minutes cooking time remove from oven and pour sauce mix over top of meatloaf and cook for 10-15 minutes more!
REMEMBER!! WATCH YOUR PORTIONS! I have found that many do best when they control their portions rather than deny themselves food!
