Brown Sugar Sauce & Grilling the Chops
A sweet, tangy sauce with a hint of spice that you will use over and over again.

Prep Time - 5 min
Cook Time - 10 min
Total Time - 15 min
Medium to thick Pork Chops (rinse and pat dry)
Sauce Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple juice
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 cup water
For the Sauce
1.In a small saucepan combine brown sugar, apple juice, oil, soy sauce, and spices
2.Bring to a boil
3.In a small bowl combine cornstarch and water
4.Whisk into boiling brown sugar mixture
5.Reduce heat and let thicken for 5-10 minutes
To Grill
1.Prepare grill
2.Cook the chops (or whatever meat you prefer) as you would normally, for the pork chops we cooked them for about 8-10 minutes turning them only once
3.Brush meat with the sauce just before removing and then serve remaining sauce on the side
Notes
1 Tbsp of the sauce is 1 WW+ points
