Broccoli Bites for Kids



Broccoli Bites for Kids (and adults!)

The key here is to have the kids help make them into patties! It's fun and they're more likely to taste them if they helped make them. smile emoticon These would also make a great healthier superbowl snack! smile emoticon
Ingredients:
16 oz. package of frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained of liquid (or fresh steamed broccoli)
1 1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese (can use low-fat)
3 eggs
salt & pepper
1 cup of seasoned Italian breadcrumbs
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
With your hands, form small patties and lay on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake at 375F for 25 minutes, turning the patties after the first 15 minutes.
Let cool and enjoy!

REMEMBER!! WATCH YOUR PORTIONS! I have found that many do best when they control their portions rather than deny themselves food!
