Loaded Broccoli **Another Winner**

Ingredients:
4-5 small bunches of fresh broccoli cut into bite size pieces
( Approx: 4-6 cups)
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
6-8 Slices bacon cooked and cut into bite size pieces
1 Bag Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese (two cups) or cheese of your choice.
3-4 Tbs chopped fresh chives
Directions:
Steam or Boil Broccoli Pieces ( I boiled for 10 minutes)
Drain and Let cool
Mix together Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, 1 cup of the Shredded Cheese and half of cut up Bacon, and placed in baking dish that was lightly sprayed with non stick spray,
Top with remaining cheese and bacon pieces.
Cook in oven 400° for 10- 15 minutes until cheese is melted
Top with chopped Chives and serve! ENJOY!!

 For thousands of years, the derivatives of the Malaleuca Tree have been effective in treating a wide variety of ailments. Here are 55 reasons why you should use it, too!

 1. Abrasions & Minor Cuts:
 After cleaning the area well, apply a few drops of the oil directly. If a bandage is needed, allow a few drops of the oil to penetrate a cotton ball, then lay face down on the wound. Bandage on top.
 2. Acne:
 Add 20 – 40 drops of the oil to your regular face wash. After cleansing, dab each affected area with neat (undiluted) oil and let dry.
 3. After Waxing:
 Make a gel of 5 drops oil to 1 TBS aloe vera gel. Smooth onto area after waxing or shaving.
 4. Arthritis:
 To help reduce pain associated with swelling of arthritis, add 20 drops of tea tree oil to 2 ounces of grapeseed oil. Massage into affected are 2-3 times a day.
 5. Asthma:
 Add a few drops of oil to a pan of water and heat on stove. When cooling, drape a towel over head and breath in for a few minutes.
 6. Athletes Foot:
 Clean feet thoroughly, especially between toes. Add oil directly to feet every two weeks, dusting with corn starch after. Or add 10 drops oil to 1 tbsp of grapeseed oil. Massage on feet and between toes.
 7. Bad Breath:
 Rinse with 1 ounce water and 1 drop oil. Do not swallow!
 8. Bath For Colds and Aches:
 Add 10-15 drops of oil to half cup epsom salts, and dissolve in bath.
 9. Bladder Infection:
 In a shallow bath, add 10 – 15 drops of oil. Sit and wash area carefully.
 10. Blisters:
 Wash area carefully, then apply as for cuts and wounds.
 11. Boils:
 Apply a warm washcloth for a few minutes. Then apply a drop or two of oil to the area – the infection should rise to surface and eventually be released.
 12. Bronchial Congestion:
 Use as directed for Asthma. Add 5 – 10 drops to 1 ounce grapeseed oil, and massage into chest and throat 2 – 3 times daily.
 13. Bruises:
 After icing, apply oil as directed for Arthritis.
 14. Bunions:
 Massage area with 5 drops oil to 1 tbsp. grapeseed oil.
 15. Burns:
 Run icy cold water on area. After a few minutes, add a mix of 5 drops oil with 1 tsp. raw honey. Repeat 3 – 5 times daily.
 16. Calluses & Corns:
 Massage area with 5 drops oil to 1 tbsp. grapeseed oil. Repeat 2 times daily. Once the corn or calluses have become soft use tweezers to remove, and apply a few drops of tea tree oil and cover with bandage.

 Apply a drop or two of oil directly to infected area with a cotton swab, 2 times daily. Also, rinse as directed for bad breath.
 18. Carbuncles:
 Add a drop or two of oil to cotton swab and apply directly to carbuncle. Repeat twice daily.
 19. Chapped Lips:
 Add 1 or 2 drops of oil to lip balm. Apply to lips as necessary.
 20. Chicken Pox:
 Apply a drop of oil directly to blisters. Allow to dry, then dust with corn starch. Repeat every few hours or until blisters disappear.
 21. Chigger Bites:
 Apply a drop of oil directly to bites.
 22. Cold Sores (Herpes Simplex 1):
 Apply a drop or two of oil directly to the sore with a cotton swab. Re-apply 2 – 3 times daily.

 Use as directed for bronchial infections. For a vaporizer, add
 10 drops to steamer and leave on 5 – 10 minutes.
 24. Dandruff:
 Add 20 – 30 drops oil to any shampoo. Apply a few drops to scalp and massage after washing.

 36. Laryngitis:
 Add 5 – 10 drops of oil and pinch of sea salt to 1 cup of warm water, gargle 2-3 times a day. Do not swallow!
 37. Mosquito Bites:
 Apply a drop of oil directly to bites.
 38. Mouth Ulcers:
 Dab ulcer with undiluted oil on cotton swab, every two hours.
 39. Muscle Aches and Pains:
 Add 10-15 drops of oil to half cup epsom salts, and dissolve in bath. Add 10 drops of oil to 2 tbsp of grapeseed oil. Massage well.
 40. Nail Fungus:
 Add 1 – 2 drops of oil directly to nail and tissue surroundings. Allow to dry completely on hands before touching anything. Repeat morning and night for a week.
 41. Plantar Warts:
 Apply oil undiluted to affected area 2-3 times daily.
 42. Psoriasis:
 Add 10 drops oil to 1 tbsp grapeseed oil and massage into affected areas. Repeat 2-3 times daily. Also can be applied undiluted.
 43. Rheumatism:
 To help reduce pain associated with rheumatism, add 20 drops of tea tree oil to 2 ounces of grapeseed oil. Massage into affected are 2-3 times a day.
 44. Ringworm:

 50. Sore Throat:
 Add 2 drops of oil to 1 cup of warm water with pinch of sea salt, gargle 2-3 times a day. Do Not Swallow!

 Add 5 drops oil to a pan of steaming water. Drape towel overhead and steam 5 minutes. Apply warm compresses directly to stye.
 52. Sunburn:
 Add 10 drops oil to 2 tbsp rosehip seed oil, repeat as often as necessary.
 53. Ticks:
 Apply a drop or two directly to tick and area.
 54. Toothbrush Cleaner:
 Apply oil directly to toothbrush 1-2 times a week to kill bacteria.
 55. Warts:
 Apply undiluted directly to wart. Use morning and night, until wart begins to disappear.

3 Ingredient Nacho Dip  SUPER DUPER YUM and YUM!!!

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
2 (15 ounce) cans hormel chili ( with or without beans, your choice)
1 (8 ounce) bags of shredded cheese, 4 cups ( I use sharp cheddar)

Directions
Layer the 2 packages of cream cheese on the bottom of a glass square 8x8 baking dish.
Cover evenly with the 2 cans of hormel chili.
Cover with the shredded cheese (some people use only half the bag -- I use the whole bag, it depends on what you like).
Put in microwave (or oven) leave in until cheese in center is bubbly.

Insanely Great Casserole !!!

Ingredients:
4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 strips of bacon – cooked and crumbled
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
1 box spiral pasta
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper

Cook and crumble bacon. While bacon is cooking, cut chicken into small chunks. Set cooked bacon aside for later use. In the same pan, cook chicken in bacon drippings. Add garlic powder and salt and pepper.

While chicken is cooking, prepare pasta according to directions. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 400.

Drain pasta, return to pot and add chicken, both cans of cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of the Monterrey Jack cheese – stir to mix well. Pour into the baking dish.

Top with bacon crumbles and the remaining cup of Monterrey Jack cheese.

Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes, just until cheese is melted and beginning to brown on top.

Zucchini & Corn Casserole
...
4 c. grated zucchini, squeezed dried in paper towel
1 1/4 c. baking mix
2 Tbsp. minced onion
3 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 c. grated cheese (I used mozzarella)
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. frozen kernel corn

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until blended well.

Coat 9" x 13" pan with cooking spray. Pour ingredients into pan and place in oven.

NuWave oven:

Power set on high for 25 minutes or until knife is clean when inserted in center, using the drip pan for your casserole dish. Remove and allow to sit 5 minutes before cutting into.

Conventional oven:

Preheat oven 325°.

Bake for 50 minutes or until knife is clean when inserted in center. Remove and allow to sit 5 minutes before cutting into.

Serves 12

BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER BITES

1 head of cauliflower
1 cup water
1 cup flour
Dash of franks hot sauce
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper

Second coating mix:
5 tablespoons of franks hot sauce
2 tablespoons of oil
Dash of salt

Cut cauliflower into florets -I prefer them smaller-
Make a buffalo paste out of water, flour, salt, pepper an dash of franks

Coat florets in the paste and set them on a greased baking sheet not touching. Bake at 450 for 20 min

Once done. Take out and make second coating mix with franks and oil. Evenly coat bites and bake again for another 10 min
Serve with ranch or blue cheese

Do you feel like this is you? I'll let you in on a little not-so-secret.......it's ME for sure! All the wrong food choices followed by zero exercise and POOF, here I am.......overweight. Are you in a rut?? A GRILLING rut?? It's easy, isn't it.....to just throw the burgers on the grill, or change it up with a steak now and then, maybe some chicken or hot dogs? How about some Kabobs instead??

We can get in a "life rut" too if we're not careful. Doing the same things day in and day out, promising ourselves that "tomorrow" we will change up the routine, eat right, exercise, lose weight. Summer Time Yum - Sausage and Vegetable Kabobs on the Grill!!

Ingredients:

For the marinade...
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger or 1/4 teaspoon dried ginger
For the K-Bobs
1 lb smoked sausage, Polish, Keilbasa, your favorite sausage, sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 small green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 zucchini, sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 medium onion, cut into 8 wedges
8 mushrooms
16 cherry tomatoes

Directions:

1 Combine the marinade ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
2 Slice the sausage and vegetables. Alternating ingredients, place on skewers.
3 Lay skewers in large, glass dish. Pour marinade. Chill for 1-2 hours.
4 Grill (or place under broiler) 5-6 minutes each side, until vegetables are tender. Brush marinade on meat and vegetables while grilling.
5 Serve over rice.

Zucchini With Corn


Great Side Dish

 Zucchini with Corn

 ingredients: ...
 2 medium zucchini, chopped into small cubes
 1 can of corn or 2 fresh sweet corns boiled and sliced
 1 cup finely chopped onion
 2 Tbsp oil
 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon powder
 ¼ cup water
 ¾ cup shredded cheese of choice (Cheddar or Monterrey or both)
 Salt and black pepper to taste

 instructions:
 Place the oil in a skillet to medium heat
 Place onion and a little salt in the skillet and fry until it is light colored
 Place the chopped zucchini in the pan to sauté a little
 Place the corn in the pan to sauté a little, add the pepper and bouillon powder
 Add the water and cover
 Lower to a simmer and let it simmer about 5 minutes, taste and add salt if necessary
 Turn off the stove, add the cheese on top and cover to melt cheese
 Enjoy!!

Take bars out of refrigerator and spread a thin layer of almond butter over the top. Cover with plastic wrap and place back into refrigerator.

Pineapple Cream Cheese Cobbler!!


Pineapple Cream Cheese Cobbler

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup of all Purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 Teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cans (20 oz cans) Pineapple chunks (drained)
8 oz cream cheese, cut into small pieces.

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
melt butter and pour into 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish.
in a small bowl mix together the egg,milk,flour,sugar,baking powder, and salt. Pour directly over the butter in the baking dish, but do not stir.

Add the Pineapple chunks,arranging in a single layer as much as possible. Drop cream cheese pieces over pineapple chunks. Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.

~~Banana Pudding Poke Cake~~


Oh My!.... It's THAT GOOD! :) **Not a diet friendly recipe but great for get togethers, potlucks and special family desserts!**

~~Banana Pudding Poke Cake~~
You Will Need:
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix (make according to box directions so you will need eggs, oil and water)
2 (3.4oz) boxes of instant banana pudding-low fat
4 cups of milk-1%
1 (8oz) tub of cool whip- fat free
20 crushed vanilla wafers
Here is what you do:
*Make cake in a 9 x 13 pan...according to box directions
Allow to cool for 2-3 min..Then using the end of a wooden spoon or something similar, poke holes in the cake... be sure to go to the bottom...you will want the holes pretty big so the pudding gets down to the bottom.
*In a med bowl whisk your pudding with 4 cups of milk until all lumps are gone.
*Pour pudding over cake...use the back of your spoon or spatula to push down in holes.
*Put in fridge and cool for approx 2 hours.
*Spread fat-free cool whip on top
*Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers on top of cool whip...its good to have some bigger pieces...don't crush them too much.
***If desired you can also slice some bananas and place on top before you put the wafers on.
(Dip them in lemon juice first to keep them from turning brown)

Meatball Sub Casserole


Meatball Sub Casserole

Ingredients
1/3 cup chopped green onion, to taste
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 lb ground beef
1 loaf Italian bread, cut into 1 inch slices
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise ( not low-fat or lite)
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 (28 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions
Preheat oven to 400.
In a bowl, combine onions, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Add beef and mix well.
shape into 1-inch balls; place on a rack.
In a shall baking pan, bake for 15-20 minutes or until no longer pink. (Or cook in a skillet on medium heat.).
Reduce oven temperature to 350.
Meanwhile, arrange bread in a single layer in an ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish.
(All of the bread might not be used.).
Combine cream cheese, mayo, Italian seasoning and pepper; spread over the bread.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella.
Combine sauce, water and garlic; add meatballs.
Pour over cheese mixture; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
Bake, uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.

Ingredients

2 cups (6 oz) uncooked rotini pasta (use brown rice pasta for GF)
2 tsp oil
1 1/2 cups onions, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 lb lean ground beef (95% lean)
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp tomato paste
28 oz diced tomatoes
2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
2 cups reduced fat grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package directions for al dente and drain well.

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-low heat. Add the onions and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in the beef and cook until browned; season with salt and pepper. Stir in the tomato paste, then add the tomatoes and mustard. Let the mixture bubble gently until it is slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

Italian Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meatballs


Italian Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meatballs
These also make wonderful juicy burgers shaped into patties!!

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 lbs ground beef (a mixture of 1 pound ground beef and 1/2 pound ground pork will work well also)
1 large egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup breadcrumbs (or use enough to hold the meat together (no dry breadcrumbs? just soak 3 slices of bread in the 1/3 c. milk )
1 -2 tablespoon fresh minced garlic (or use 1 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste)
1 -2 teaspoon salt (or to taste, I use 2 teaspoons seasoned salt)
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/3 cup milk (can use up to 1/2 cup milk)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional, or to taste)
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 2 tablespoons dried parsley)

DIRECTIONS:

1 Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
2 Shape into small meatballs (at this point you can place on a jelly-roll/baking sheet and freeze to use later, or cover with plastic wrap refrigerate up to 24 hours before using).
3 Drop the meatballs into simmering pasta sauce, do not stir for at least 20 minutes or you will risk breaking the meatballs.
4 Continue cooking in the simmering sauce for another 20 minutes (depending on how fast your sauce is simmering 40 minutes total should fully cook the meatballs).
5 After the 40 minutes cooking time continue cooking your sauce with the meatballs in for as long as desired.
6 **note** you may also bake the meatballs at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until cooked through.

Ingredients
2 (15 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1 (10 1/2 ounce) bags coarsely crushed Fritos chili cheese corn chips ( I could not find these so I mixed 1/2 regular and 1/2 barbeque corn chips)
Directions
Mix first 5 ingredients and chill. Stir in corn chips just before serving.

 I have done nothing different ... just started walking a few weeks ago. I forgot to actually show you what SF is doing for me... the improved ingredients in SF are really getting me off the plateau.. I have almost consistently eaten super clean for over 3 years... I have been consistent with Skinny fiber for over 3 years...I am totally blown away ... I quit smoking Jan 24th after 30 years and was at 2 packs a day. I had quit 2 times when I was younger...before the meno ...thyroid disorder and weight gain at 38 .... both times even working out and watching my diet had put on enough weight that I was up a size or 2 both times in less than 3 months... This is why I decided I would smoke til I was dead..... could not control the weight gain when not smoking!!!!
 Well.... if it were not for SKinny Fiber I would still have to suck in to zip these jeans up--- they were hidden in my closet because I could not breath when I wore them... last winter I decided to give them away.... glad I did not cuz look at me now.......
 2 inches of space in the waist....
 To those who think SF is not working... let me ask ...how consistent are you???? It takes weeks of consistent healthy eating and following the directions using SKinny Fiber to get results...
 Have you been on meds recently??? I know there are a few who have.. remember it takes about 6-12 weeks for the effects of the meds to leave your body and can slow down your weight loss..
 I really had begun to think this is where my body would stay.. chubby!!!
 Not so.... If I can lose and I quit smoking and this usually results in an average of 28 pounds or more.
 It has been almost 6 months and I am losing it!!!!!!!!
 I do believe too many stop believing ... when we stop believing we lose motivation... and after all believing is half the battle!!!!
 Where are all my belief warriors??
 I am feeling so motivated now that I am finally off my plateau..... remember there are 3 pieces to this puzzle.... all done consistently -- (and finally have added the last piece myself...have you>>?)
 1 Diet... real food ... enough calories and cut the fake foods.. proceesed carbs and sugar...
 2 Take Skinny fiber as directed every day .. twice a day with plenty of o cal fluids... water is best..
 3- MOVE!!!!!!
 IF you all do this and stick with it that plateau will be busted !!!

You will need:
 1 large cucumber
 Grape or Cherry Tomatoes
 Olives
 1/2 of a yellow or white onion
 Red Wine & Olive Oil Vinaigrette

Slice the cucumber in to rounds and cut each round in to quarters. I don't peel them because I like the colors. Slice your tomatoes and olives in half. Chop your onion and add all to a large bowl. Toss with the vinaigrette of your choice and chill until serving.

The way of Eating fruits - this opened my eyes
It's long but very informative

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.
