Taco Dip



Taco Dip

Ingredients:
- 1lb of ground meat (we use hamburger) **To make vegetarian style omit the meat
-Taco Seasoning
- 1 tub of Sour Cream
- 1 package of Cream Cheese (room temperature)
- 1 can of salsa
-Shredded cheese

~Start off by cooking your hamburger until it is nice and brown, add taco seasoning to meat with a small amount of water to mix the seasoning into the hamburger and cook until the water has all evaporated. Place hamburger in a bowl filled with paper towel and allow to sit adding extra paper towel if necessary. (You want your hamburger dry with no grease left in it or it will all stick together in the dip making it really hard to scoop with a chip)
~in a bowl beat the cream cheese until it is soft, add the sour cream and beat until the cream cheese and sour cream are well blended
** If making vegetarian style, add your spices to the sour cream/cream cheese mixture. Season to taste
~In a deep dish pan add hamburger and make an even layer on the bottom of the pan
~Add Cream cheese/sour cream mixture and layer evenly over the hamburger.
**For vegetarian style this mixture will be your base layer
~Add an even layer of salsa over the cream cheese/sour cream mixture
~Cover dish with shredded cheese all over and your done
Serve with your favorite nacho chips
