Fried Apples


Fried Apples

 2-3 large apples such as red or yellow delicious
 4 T. butter
 2 T. brown sugar
 1 T. white sugar
 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
 1/3 C. apple juice
 1 tsp. corn starch

 Peel apples and slice, melt butter over medium high heat and add in the apples and the sugar. Stir and cook for 5 minutes, reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for 5 more minutes. Whisk the apple juice and corn starch together, pour over the apples and stir as the sauce thickens. Add in the cinnamon and remove from heat. Serve as a side dish or over vanilla ice cream.
